By enrolling in The Body Balance Studio’s Mat Pilates Certification program, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully before completing your registration.
1. Registration, Deposits & Payment
A $500 deposit is required to secure your spot in the program.
Deposits are non-refundable. In extreme circumstances, students may contact the teaching team directly to discuss options.
Students may transfer their registration to a later training date or another location, subject to availability.
The remaining balance of tuition must be paid no later than one (1) month prior to the start of the training.
Late fees will be applied at a rate of $50 for every 15 days past due on outstanding invoices.
2. Refunds & Cancellations
All deposits are non-refundable.
Tuition payments (beyond the deposit) are refundable only under exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of The Body Balance Studio teaching team.
Students unable to attend their original training may transfer their enrollment to a future training, as noted above.
3. Course Access & Content
Students receive access to pre-course content six (6) weeks prior to the training start date.
Post-course content will remain available until the student’s graduation date.
All course materials, including manuals, videos, and digital resources, are the intellectual property of The Body Balance Studio and are protected under copyright law. They may not be copied, shared, distributed, or reproduced without written permission
4. Certification Requirements & Late Submission Policy
Students must complete all certification requirements within six (6) months of the final day of their in-person training.
Certification requirements include:
100% completion of pre-course and post-course content
Logged hours (observation, participation, practice teaching)
Final essay and video submission
Students receive a 2-month grace period beyond the official deadline at no additional cost.
After the grace period, a late fee of $100/month will be applied for any outstanding submissions.
No submissions will be accepted beyond one (1) year from the training end date.
5. Participation & Liability
Participation in the certification requires that students are in adequate physical condition to safely engage in Pilates training.
Students are required to disclose any injuries, health conditions, or limitations prior to participating.
A waiver and liability release must be signed before attending the training.
By enrolling, students accept full responsibility for their participation and release The Body Balance Studio, its instructors, and affiliates from any liability for injury or damages sustained during the program.
6. Code of Conduct
Students are expected to participate in all components of the training with professionalism and respect.
Disruptive behavior, plagiarism, or misuse of course content may result in dismissal from the program without refund.
7. Amendments to Terms
The Body Balance Studio reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Students will be notified of changes, and the revised Terms will apply to future trainings.
